Baseball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Lewis Cass Kings.

Marion saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Richardson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Lewis Cass, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Marion will take on Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lewis Cass, they will venture away from home to take on Eastbrook at 5:03 p.m. on Monday.
