Baseball Recap: Willard Takes a Loss

Willard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Clear Fork Colts. The Crimson Flashes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Colts from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Willard's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Clear Fork, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willard will stay at home for another game and welcome Colonel Crawford at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Crimson Flashes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clear Fork, they will welcome Clyde at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
