Softball Recap: Senn Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Senn entered their tilt with Prosser on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 17-8 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 25-3 last Monday.

Audrey Lebovitz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Lebovitz was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played.

In other batting news, Deja Boatman was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, she posted four RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Kennedy Nash also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Senn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.

Senn's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Prosser, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Senn is set to challenge their familiar foe Rickover Naval at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Prosser will take on rival Mather at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
