Baseball Recap: Valhalla Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Valhalla ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Tuckahoe Tigers 4-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Valhalla's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Tuckahoe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Valhalla will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Blind Brook at 11:00 a.m. As for Tuckahoe, they will head out on the road to square off against Edgemont at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
