Softball Recap: Shikellamy Comes Up Short

Shikellamy lost against Jersey Shore last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Braves came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 19-2. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shikellamy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Oakes, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Shikellamy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jersey Shore, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shikellamy is set to take on their familiar foe Williamsport at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jersey Shore will face off against rival Central Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
