Hannibal is a perfect 5-0 against Marshall since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Hannibal will head out to square off against Marshall at 6:40 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hannibal is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Springfield, who was ranked 14th in their home state at the time (Hannibal was ranked fourth). Hannibal lost 8-1 to Springfield on Saturday. Hannibal haven't had much luck with Springfield recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Marshall challenged Southern Boone on Monday. Marshall came up short against Southern Boone, falling 5-2.

Marshall has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. Hannibal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Hannibal beat Marshall by a goal when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 3-2. Does Hannibal have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marshall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
