Basketball Recap: Alpharetta Takes a Loss

Alpharetta was the 69-57 winner over Roswell when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Alpharetta Raiders fell to the Roswell Hornets 60-55. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Alpharetta's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Roswell, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Alpharetta will head out on the road to take on Sequoyah at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Sequoyah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Alpharetta likes a good challenge. As for Roswell, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lugoff-Elgin at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th.
