Softball Preview: Beaverton Beavers vs. Mountainside Mavericks
Beaverton hasn't had much luck against Mountainside recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Beavers will venture away from home to square off against the Mavericks at 5:00 p.m. Beaverton has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Halle LaFontaine was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Riedel, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
