Basketball Recap: Southern Huntingdon County Takes a Loss

Southern Huntingdon County suffered their closest defeat since February 5th on Monday. They fell just short of the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels by a score of 55-52. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Knights/Damsels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Southern Huntingdon County now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Moshannon Valley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Huntingdon County will take on Southern Fulton in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Moshannon Valley and Curwensville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
