Montoursville is 7-1 against Warrior Run since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will square off against the Defenders at 4:30 p.m. Warrior Run took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Montoursville, who comes in off a win.

Warrior Run will be up against a hot Montoursville squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Warriors blew past Southern Columbia Area 12-4 on Tuesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Warrior Run and Hughesville, and Hughesville kept the tradition alive. The Defenders came up short against the Spartans on Tuesday, falling 8-2. That's two games in a row now that the Defenders have lost by exactly six runs.

Montoursville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Warrior Run, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Montoursville beat Warrior Run 7-4 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
