Football Recap: Timberlake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Timberlake was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a blow against the Lakeland Hawks, falling 62-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Leading Lakeland to victory were Peyton Hillman and Dre Smith. Hillman threw for 241 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, while Smith rushed for 110 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. 99 of Hillman's passing yards were hauled in by Jace Taylor.

Timberlake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lakeland, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Timberlake and Lakeland will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the field they'll take on Moscow at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Lakeland, their break will end when they face Sandpoint at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
