Baseball Recap: Frisco Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frisco can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Reedy Lions on Saturday. The Raccoons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Frisco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Nickson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one stolen base. Jackson Voris was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple.

Frisco has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-10 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Reedy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Frisco nor Reedy have any future games scheduled.
