Recap: Westview Wildcats vs. Mountainside Mavericks
The Westview Wildcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 52-44 win over Mountainside on Tuesday. The victory was just what Westview needed coming off of a 70-27 loss in their prior contest.
Westview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaleah Medeiros out in front who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dara Oluwafemi, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
The win got Westview back to even at 9-9. As for Mountainside, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview will square off against the Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountainside, they will head out on the road to face off against the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beaverton will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
