Basketball Game Preview: Paw Paw Pirates vs. East Hardy Cougars

Paw Paw is 0-10 against East Hardy since February of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Paw Paw Pirates will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the East Hardy Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Paw Paw is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Paden City: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went Paw Paw's way against Paden City on Saturday as Paw Paw made off with an 82-57 win. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Pirates had established a 23 point advantage.

Donavan Tanouye went supernova for Paw Paw, dropping a double-double on 39 points and 16 boards. Tanouye's afternoon made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Carder, who posted 26 points.
