Volleyball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Varsity Opponent

Pinnacle Classical Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Varsity Opponent on Friday, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to Varsity Opponent from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Pinnacle Classical Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Varsity Opponent work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 26-24.

Pinnacle Classical Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lily Brown, who had 13 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Coming up, Pinnacle Classical Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy on Monday. The Gryphons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
