Football Recap: Liberal Beats New Heights Christian Academy for Their Third Straight Victory

New Heights Christian Academy came into Friday's game looking for another win against Liberal, but Elam Beaman wouldn't allow it. The Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cougars 60-8 with plenty of help from Beaman, who rushed for 200 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 146 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.

The victory was the third in a row for Liberal, bringing their record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points over those games. As for New Heights Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberal will venture away from home to square off against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
