Volleyball Game Preview: Titusville Rockets vs. Mercer Mustangs

The Titusville Rockets will take on the Mercer Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Titusville managed to slip by Slippery Rock the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Titusville lost 3-0 to Slippery Rock on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Titusville has suffered since September 11th.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mercer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Grove City on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-27, 25-21.

Titusville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Mercer, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
