Softball Recap: Upland Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Upland owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars. Considering the Highlanders/Scots have won six games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Upland's sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

Coincidentally, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga will both be playing Los Osos the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Grizzlies at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Highlanders/Scots will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
