Basketball Recap: Crosbyton Takes a Loss

Crosbyton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 37-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Petersburg Buffaloes. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 45-32 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Crosbyton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Petersburg, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Crosbyton will welcome Southland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Petersburg, they will challenge O'Donnell at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. O'Donnell will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Petersburg surely won't give up without a fight.
