Smyrna and Siegel are an even 4-4-1 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will face off against the Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Smyrna fell victim to Cookeville and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 1-0. Smyrna have struggled against Cookeville recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Siegel had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Warriors. Spencer Fagel had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Siegel got from the refs.

Smyrna's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-2. As for Siegel, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7-3.

Smyrna beat Siegel by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
