League recap: Pisgah rolls against West Lincoln

2A Region 6 recap September 24, 2013

Pisgah took down West Lincoln 37-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kendarius Story ran for 121 yards in the win.

Leake County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,446 from 7,799. The improvement came about via a 30-0 victory over J.Z. George last week.

Story was a passing and rushing force as the Dragons topped the Bears.

Story was the best running back in 2A Region 6 this week. Teammate Grant Watkins added to the ground attack by rushing for 75 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, St. Joseph Catholic's Chris Hanneke and Khari Harrison have proven to be a lethal combination. Hanneke has thrown for 530 yards this season, while Harrison, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 10 catches for 241 yards. Austin Fletcher from Puckett leads the league in rushing with 519 yards.

Pisgah led the league in scoring this week by notching 37 points on West Lincoln. Story during the win.
