Basketball Recap: McMichael Comes Up Short

After flying high against Reidsville last Friday, McMichael came back down to earth. The McMichael Phoenix fell 41-34 to the North Forsyth Vikings on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-48 back in January.

McMichael's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for North Forsyth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

McMichael does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Forsyth, they will square off against Walkertown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
