Baseball Game Preview: Rootstown Rovers vs. Chaney Cowboys

On Wednesday, Rootstown got the win against Aquinas by a conclusive 10-3. The win continues a trend for the Rovers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Chaney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against David Anderson, falling 13-2. That's two games in a row now that the Cowboys have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Chaney's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Rootstown, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
