Dominguez came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Compton Tarbabes with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Dominguez was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-11.

Dominguez's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Compton, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Dominguez is taking a road trip to square off against Cabrillo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Compton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodrow Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Woodrow Wilson their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
