While Mt. Carmel's  win against Lawrenceville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Aces had just enough and edged out the Indians  6-5 on Friday. The Golden Aces haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  victory against them.
The team  relied heavily on  Ryder Sloss, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Asher Coston, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Mt. Carmel  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lawrenceville struck out 12 times.
Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Lawrenceville,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-7.
 Mt. Carmel has  already played their next  match (against Princeton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lawrenceville, they will challenge Vincennes Rivet at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 7.5  runs per game this season.
