Baseball Recap: Waterloo West Takes a Loss

Waterloo West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Iowa City Little Hawks, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Little Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Monday.

Waterloo West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Iowa City, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Waterloo West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-2 victory against Waterloo East on the 3rd. Iowa City has also already played their next match (against Waverly-Shell Rock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
