Softball Recap: St. Joseph Bulldogs vs. England Lions
St. Joseph lost against England back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Joseph Bulldogs suffered a tough 14-6 loss at the hands of the England Lions. St. Joseph has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
St. Joseph got a big performance out of Ashlynne Vote, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Vote is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now hit three or more in the last three games she's played. Anna Nabholz was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with a home run.
St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for England, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-5.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat St. Joseph by a score of 14-6.
