Soccer Preview: Winslow Meets Mount View

The Winslow Black Raiders will take on the Mount View Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Winslow's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Mount View has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Winslow is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Leavitt on Thursday. Neither the Black Raiders nor the Hornets could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Mount View kept a clean sheet against Nokomis on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. That two goal margin sets a new team best for Mount View this season.

Winslow's draw makes their record 9-3-1 this season. As for Mount View, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1.
