Volleyball Recap: Temple City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Temple City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the San Marino Titans, falling 3-0. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.

San Marino's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cynthia Kackstetter led the charge by getting 14 digs, three aces, and two blocks. That's the most aces Kackstetter has posted since back in August. Lila Wang was another key player, getting 15 digs and two aces.

Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for San Marino, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7-1.

Temple City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Blair on the 18th. As for San Marino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against La Canada on the 17th.
