Freer had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over the Santa Maria Cougars. The Buckaroos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Freer has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Santa Maria, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ben Bolt the next time they take the court. Freer will host Ben Bolt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Santa Maria will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
