Soccer Recap: South Lake Takes a Loss

South Lake was the 2-1 winner over Windermere when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The South Lake Eagles might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Windermere Wolverines an easy 6-1 win. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Eagles were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Savannah Reichl, who's now up to ten this season.

South Lake dropped their record down to 2-7-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Windermere, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Lake will be home for the holidays to greet Springstead at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Windermere, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lake Buena Vista at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
