Baseball Recap: Lehighton Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Lehighton barely beat Jim Thorpe the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians blew past the Olympians 12-0 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Olympians: they've now won five in a row.

Aiden Solt was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Cody Snyder, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Lehighton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive contests.
