Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hale Ray). Everything went their way against the Vinal RVT Hawks on Saturday as they made off with a 24-3 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Noises as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Matthew Ricard and Colby Bryant did most of the damage at the plate: Ricard went 2-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Bryant went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Bryant is becoming a predictor of Hale Ray's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 0-9 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Brown, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hale Ray kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Vinal RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
