Union Academy found a leader in Avery Wilson as the squad took down Mount Pleasant on Friday. Wilson wasn't messing around, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her 15th straight with five or more strikeouts.

Wilson's strong effort led Union Academy over Mount Pleasant and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
