Volleyball Recap: St. John-Endicott Eagles vs. Waitsburg Cardinals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garfield-Palouse, St. John-Endicott was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Waitsburg Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
While St. John-Endicott won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.
Loren Loomis paced St. John-Endicott's offense, picking up eight kills. Loomis got some help from Sophie Anderson and her 20 assists. Vanessa Webb controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
