Basketball Preview: Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks vs. Carle Place Frogs
Cold Spring Harbor and the Frogs are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Carle Place Frogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Cold Spring Harbor scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in January. They came out on top against Carle Place by a score of 53-40. The score was all tied up 20-20 at the break, but Cold Spring Harbor was the better team in the second half.
Cold Spring Harbor's record is now 3-1. As for Carle Place, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.
Cold Spring Harbor beat the Frogs 53-40 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Carle Place's Caitlin Leary, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds.
