Cedar Ridge came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Round Rock Westwood Warriors. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Cedar Ridge got a great performance from Jaedyn Lambert as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Lambert has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kasen Langerhans was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Olivas, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Cedar Ridge lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Cedar Ridge's record now sits at 10-4. As for Round Rock Westwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10-1 record this season.

Cedar Ridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against Round Rock Westwood: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
