Baseball Recap: Hunter Comes Up Short

Hunter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-1 to the Granger Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

Hunter saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alan Garcia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Garcia hit this season. Another was Brendan Brito, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Hunter's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Granger, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.

While Hunter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
