Softball Recap: Eufaula Comes Up Short

Eufaula made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Headland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Zy'Kayla Robinson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and one double. Yamyah Fryer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Eufaula's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Headland, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Eufaula will take on Beulah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Headland, they will challenge Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
