Volleyball Recap: Hand Takes a Loss

Hand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Amity Regional Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

While Hand was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-14.

Hand's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Amity Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Hand has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Shelton on the 14th. Amity Regional has also already played their next matchup (against Xavier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
