Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Payton Jones and Aubry Hall Lead Hershey to Victory

Hershey posted their biggest victory since January 21st on Thursday. Everything went their way against the St. Patrick's Irish as the Hershey Panthers made off with a 42-22 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hershey was led to victory by Aubry Hall and Payton Jones. Hall went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points and six steals, while Jones posted 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That's the most boards Jones has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Pinkerton, who earned three points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Hershey smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, St. Patrick's still got an impressive performance from Sophia Baca, who had six points along with 13 boards and three steals. Baca has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

Hershey's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for St. Patrick's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Hershey nor St. Patrick's have any future games scheduled.
