Vidor had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Silsbee Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering the Pirates have won 12 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Vidor's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Silsbee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vidor will face off against Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
