East Rockingham is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Spotswood just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt an 84-46 loss at the hands of the Trailblazers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since December 21, 2023.

Meanwhile, Turner Ashby suffered their closest loss since December 12, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of Wilson Memorial by a score of 53-51. The Knights have struggled against the Green Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

East Rockingham's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Turner Ashby, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

East Rockingham beat Turner Ashby 61-48 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will East Rockingham repeat their success, or does Turner Ashby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
