Football Game Preview: Myrtle Point vs. Butte Falls/Crater Lake

Myrtle Point will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Butte Falls/Crater Lake at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

There's no need to mince words: Myrtle Point lost to Riddle last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-70.

Meanwhile, after a big victory against North Lake two weeks ago, Butte Falls/Crater Lake came back down to earth. Butte Falls/Crater Lake found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-44 punch to the gut against Days Creek. Butte Falls/Crater Lake were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-36.

Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
