Nick Fusco leads Doane Academy to victory over Delran

Doane Academy can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-48 win over Delran. The win was just what Doane Academy needed coming off of a 56-34 loss in their prior match.

Nick Fusco was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Warman, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.

Doane Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Delran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Doane Academy will be playing at home against Burlington Township at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Burlington Township has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Delran on the road again on Monday and play against KIPP Cooper Norcross at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd. KIPP Cooper Norcross will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
