St. Michael the Archangel waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the University Academy Charter Gryphons. That's more bragging rights for the Guardians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Michael the Archangel was: they took every set by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-6, 25-3.

Jordan Redd paced St. Michael the Archangel's offense, picking up 11 kills. Redd got some help from Addi MacLean and her 28 assists. Lauren Ahern and Bokenkroger Molly kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

St. Michael the Archangel's record now sits at 17-6. As for University Academy Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7-1.
