Soccer Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea entered their contest against Briarwood Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Chelsea couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Briarwood Christian, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chelsea will face off against Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Briarwood Christian, they will square off against Spain Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
