Soccer Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Raymond last Thursday, Richland came back down to earth. The Richland Rangers fell just short of the West Lauderdale Knights by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Rangers have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for West Lauderdale, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Richland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Itawamba Agricultural on the 14th. As for West Lauderdale, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Bay on the 14th.
