Soccer Recap: Estero Starts Season with Loss at Home

Estero unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Gulf Coast Sharks by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Estero couldn't quite close it out.

Gulf Coast's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Estero has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Riverdale on the 6th. As for Gulf Coast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Venice on the 7th.
