Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Has No Trouble Against West County

Jefferson not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the West County Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Jays in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Jefferson was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Olivia Bone and Kendall Broadwater, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Halayna Loyd and her 33 assists. Peyton Guffey controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jefferson now has a winning record of 11-10-4. As for West County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10-1.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and West County will both be playing Arcadia Valley the next time they take the court. The Blue Jays will head out to face the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
